It’s now just T minus five weeks until Milne minor takes his or her first gulp of great Scottish fresh air - hopefully in a maternity suite and not stuck in snow on some West Lothian back-road. And mum to be and I have been lucky enough to have been given all manner of gifts and gadgets in preparation, including something called a Chicco S3 travel-system. That’s basically a buggy that turns into a pram that turns into a car seat in bloke speak. Sadly, it didn’t come with any instructions. So today, in a fit of trying to be prepared, we thought we’d give it a bash. How hard could it be, after all? Surely there will be a video on YouTube? A PDF from the company with instructions? Suffice to say some two-hours later we now know the basics. It can stand erect without collapsing, which is more than can be said for us after the slog-a-thon. And all this without even hearing a cry in anger. Jings. Crivvens. Help ma Boab.
